Article 1 In order to strengthen the new variety management of food additive, according to " food safety law " and relevant provisions of " food safety law implementing regulations ", make this method.
Article 2 The new variety of food additive refers to:
(1) Have not listed in food additive variety of the national standard of the food security;
(2) Have not listed in food additive variety that the announcement of Ministry of Public Health has allowed to use;
(3) Expand food additive variety of scope of application or consumption.
Article 3 Food additive should be really necessary technically and passes the evaluation certificate of the risk it is safe and reliable.
Article 4 It should accord with the following requirements to use food additive:
(1) Should not conceal the food putridly and deterioratedly;
(2) Should not conceal the quality defect in the food or processing course;
(3) But use food additive with the purpose of mixing, adulterating, forging;
(4) Should not reduce the nutritive value of food;
(5) Consumption reduced under getting the result of expecting in the food as much as possible;
(6) The food should be removed before making the last finished product while processing auxiliary industrially, regulations are allowed except residual quantity.
Article 5 The examination that Ministry of Public Health is responsible for the new variety of food additive permits working, organize to set up the new assortment technology assessment of food additive and examine the norm.
